Terms
Draft. Under review by counsel before launch.
1. The service
motionAI is software that helps licensed attorneys and their staff prepare immigration filings. It is in development and not yet available.
2. Not legal advice, and no filing
motionAI is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. It never submits anything to any court or agency portal. The attorney downloads the packet, signs it where required and files it.
3. The attorney's responsibility
The firm and its attorneys remain responsible for every filing. Every field must be verified by a person, and only an attorney can attest. The attorney acknowledges that AI-generated content must be reviewed (ABA Formal Opinion 512).
4. Accounts
Each person uses their own sign-in. Firms are responsible for the people they add and for the accuracy of the information they upload. Fees are set in the firm's agreement with motionAI. [Counsel to complete.]
5. Your data
Your firm's data stays yours. It is kept while the account is active, a full export is available on cancellation, and data is deleted 90 days after cancellation. Client data is never used to train models. See Privacy and AI use (separate draft pages).
6. Acceptable use
Do not use motionAI to break the law, to attack or probe the service, or to upload data you have no right to upload. [Counsel to complete.]
7. Disclaimers and liability
[Counsel to draft: warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnity.]
8. Governing law and changes
[Counsel to draft: governing law, venue, how changes to these terms are announced.]
