Portal credentials

motionAI never files anything. The attorney downloads the packet and uploads it to the court or agency portal by hand.

motionAI has no portal logins and never stores government portal credentials.

Every value cited

Every value motionAI fills carries a citation to a document, page and exact quote, or a reference to a rule. If neither exists, the field stays blank and is flagged.

Deadlines and fees

Deadlines, fees and required documents come from a rules catalog with a citation for each entry. They do not come from the AI model.

Attorney attestation

Only an attorney can pass the attestation gate. It records the attorney's acknowledgement of ABA Formal Opinion 512, a timestamp and the full verification trail. The server enforces this, not only the screen.

Every action on a matter is written to an append-only audit log: who, what and when. The log can be exported per matter.

Firm isolation

Each firm is isolated. Every query is scoped to the signed-in firm's organization.

Your data

Originals stay on the attorney's device. An encrypted copy is uploaded for processing. Client data is never used to train models. Your firm's data is kept while the account is active and deleted 90 days after cancellation.

A firm can delete any matter at any time. On cancellation the firm gets a full export first, and reminder emails arrive 30, 7 and 1 days before deletion.

Hosting and encryption

Encrypted copies of documents are stored in AWS us-west-2 with keys managed in AWS KMS. AI processing runs in AWS US regions (us-east-1, us-east-2, us-west-2). The app keeps its local cache encrypted on the device.
