Seven planned modules, one cited record

motionAI is in development and none of these modules is available yet. Everything is designed to work from the same documents, so every value can be traced back.

Drafting and forms

motionAI fills EOIR and USCIS forms and drafts motions from the client folder. The launch catalog covers EOIR motions to reopen and reconsider, motions for continuance and to change venue, the EOIR-26 Notice of Appeal, EOIR-27 and EOIR-28, and USCIS I-589, the family package (I-130, I-485, I-864, I-765), I-290B and G-28.

Deadlines, fees and required documents come from the rules catalog, never from the AI model.1 Search the catalog by form number or by describing the situation in plain words. Suggestions come only from catalog entries and verified precedents.

The app is available in English and Farsi, with right-to-left layout. The client intake questionnaire is available in English, Farsi and Spanish. The official forms stay in English.

Review and attestation

Every field is verified one at a time by a person before attestation. There is no bulk verify. Fields left blank must be filled in before they can be verified, and comments can be pinned to a field.

The attorney then attests, with an AI-review acknowledgement on record.2 Every action on a matter goes into an audit log that can be exported.

Declaration review

motionAI reads a declaration the way four readers would: the Immigration Judge, the DHS trial attorney, the BIA on appeal and a USCIS asylum officer. It returns margin comments on the exact sentences, an issue list by severity, a mock cross-examination and a credibility checklist.

Every finding quotes the exact sentence it is about. Findings without an exact quote are dropped. Authority from outside the verified library is shown in red as unverified. Visible to firm members only, never in the filed packet. Declaration review flags risks. It does not predict the outcome.

Court readinessComing

A hearing binder prepared from the same record as the motion: case theory, an element-by-element checklist, the exhibit plan, examination outlines, the government's likely arguments, a closing argument and hearing logistics.

Facts come only from the uploaded record, each with an exact quote. Law comes only from the curated library, statutes and regulations.

Court readiness is coming. It is not available yet.

Legal updatesComing

A feed of new precedent decisions, rules and policy, filtered by the interests each person picks. An item that affects deadlines, fees or forms gets a "changes practice" badge.

Each summary quotes its source verbatim and links to it. A summary claim whose quote is not found in the stored source is dropped. Summaries are labelled as AI.

Legal updates are coming. They are not available yet.

Precedent libraryComing

Binding precedent from the BIA, the Attorney General and the Supreme Court, plus the circuits your firm selects. Each entry shows its citation, holding and history, each with its source, and can be added to a table of authorities.

Treatment status, such as overruled or vacated, is published only after review by our team. Each status change records the reviewer, the date and the rationale.

The precedent library is coming. It is not available yet.

Form editionsComing

motionAI watches for new editions of USCIS and EOIR forms. A new edition with no field changes is published automatically. Any field change is reviewed by our team first.

A draft keeps the old edition while it is accepted on the filing date. Otherwise it moves to the new edition and changed or new fields become unverified. Attorneys with affected drafts are told what changed.

Form edition updates are coming. They are not available yet.
